Built on what is widely regarded as the site of the world’s first factory and located within the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Museum of Making celebrates Derby’s 300-year history of making and innovation to inspire new creativity. Designed and made by the people and industries of Derby, this innovative museum offers something for everyone with a vibrant programme of exhibitions and events, a riverside café, maker shop and a hireable workshop.
