We invite you to a FREE day of fun to celebrate our county's nature and join us in growing a vision for a greener, wilder Derbyshire.

Kicking off with Shipley Parkrun at 9am.

10.30am - 4pm Bring a picnic and join us for a day of fun wild activities for all the family!

• Bug hunting marvellous minibeast mansion building!
• Wild and wonderful storytelling by the Creeping Toad
• Wild wellbeing - feel better through nature
• Wagon of Wonder, interactive show from Babbling Vagabonds
• Meadow sweeping - what creatures will you find?
• Tips from Team Wilder on taking action for nature
• Music from Furthest From The Sea
• Forest School & Nature tots
• Interactive and educational animal handling experience with Animal Encounters
• Alpaca walking with Brackenfield Alpacas (please note there is a small charge for this activity)  
• A lunch time talk with special guest Charles Hanson, from Flog it, Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip, talking about his love for Derbyshire’s Wildlife

• The Derbyshire Ornithological Society

• Local community groups
