Requiem in a Day – free choral workshop at Derby Cathedral, with composer Matthew Coleridge
Join singers from around the country to sing in an inspiring performance of Matthew Coleridge’s sublime choral work ‘Requiem’ in Derby Cathedral. We’ll spend the day learning and rehearsing this stunning music, before giving a concert performance directed by the composer.
Matthew is one of the UK’s most exciting emerging composers, and a charismatic and engaging workshop leader, bringing out the best in singers with his positivity and good humour.
#His Requiem has been described as “mesmerising and deeply moving, with beautiful melodies woven into dazzling tapestries of harmony”.
The workshop will run on saturday 11th February, with rehearsals 10:30 – 17:30 and concert performance 19:00 – 20:00.
The choral workshop is free to attend, so don’t miss out!
