Raise your voice and raise your spirits with Derbyshire Community Male Voice Choir and Rolls-Royce Ladies Choir.
Come along to a communal singing workshop in the Wardwick at Derby Museum and Art Gallery.
The Derbyshire Community Male Voice Choir is a registered charity (number 1189111) whose charitable aims are to promote male voice choir singing and to distribute funds to charities in Derby and Derbyshire. All funds raised through this event will be donated to Derby Museums. The group are an inclusive and forward-thinking amateur choir open to anyone wanting to sing in the male register. There are no auditions, and through their excellent music team and online resources they believe anyone can learn to sing and perform in four-part harmony.
Their repertoire includes a real mix of music from traditional male voice choir pieces to songs from the musicals and contemporary numbers.
Over the years the choir has performed thousands of concerts across the county and in choir competitions and festivals, raising over a quarter of a million for local charities along the way!
The Derbyshire Community Male Voice Choir is about singing, raising money for good causes and having fun doing it. Find out more about them here: www.DCMVChoir.com
