Description
These FREE workshops are for anyone who works with or has Parkinson's Disease, also for professionals too.
You will understand about the movement issues and the Body Mind Relationship and the complexity of the disease which can be difficult to control or understand.
The sessions will be practical using movement and the benefits of dance as an intervention and the therapeutic understanding it can offer.
The workshops will be run by two experienced Dance Movement Psychotherapists, and they will lead you into creative and interesting ways of doing and understanding.
The workshops will be hosted by Dr Jill Bunce from the University of Derby, and Aiswarya Deshpande.
Aishwarya Deshpande, fondly known as Ash, is a dance movement psychotherapist running her own business called Move for Wellbeing in Derbyshire. Ash has worked with various local businesses in Derbyshire like Derby Theatre, Artcore, Derbyhsire County Cricket Club, etc. as a movement facilitator and therapist and is now looking forward to come together with Dr. Jill Bunce for this PD project.
