Speaker: Rachael Brodie BSc, Fluid Systems Engineer, SSNA, Rolls-Royce plc
Have you ever wondered if aliens exist?
What do we mean by “aliens” or “extra-terrestrials” because we have already found possible evidence of microbial life on other planets: do we mean “intelligent extra-terrestrials”?
In this lecture we will explore the planets in our solar system and the probability of intelligent extra-terrestrials.
Doors open at the venue at 18:30 with the talk beginning at 19:00. Please enter the Museum of Making via the Lombe Door.
There will be a bar available for the purchase of refreshments.
Whilst it isn’t necessary to register for this event, it will help with our rooming arrangements if you do.
About the Speaker
Rachael is currently a Fluid Systems Engineer at Rolls-Royce. She studied Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology at Lancaster University.
