Description
Every child in every school has one Christmas wish to star in a Nativity, and at St Bernadette’s School they are attempting to mount a musical version. The only problem is teacher Mr Maddens has promised that a Hollywood producer is coming to see the show and turn it into a film. Join him, his teaching assistant, the crazy Mr Poppy, hilarious pupils and a whole cast of madcap individuals as they struggle to make everyone’s wishes come true.
Feel-good, funny and full of infectious joy, this production features all the hit songs from the films including Sparkle and Shine, Nazareth, One Night, One Moment and a host of many others.
This musical has been seen by over one million people since 2017 during an acclaimed UK tour and three successful London runs.
Performed by some of the best youth talent in the county, come and join DYMT as they celebrate their tenth anniversary and enjoy some pre-festive mayhem in the Derby premiere of this much-loved show.
