Description

With so many things to do for kids young and old, Chatsworth Farmyard and Adventure Playground makes for a fun day out for all the family.

In the farmyard you'll meet our friendly animals, from pigs and horses to our mischievous goats and guinea pigs. We're also delighted to be home to a number of rare breeds including Suffolk Punch horses, Shire horses, Albion cattle, Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, Bagot goats and Cream Legbar chickens.

Take a free ride on our tractor trailer through Stand Wood, everyone is welcome to join us!

From the farmyard, take the secret tunnel to the children's playground. Fetch water from the stream using the Archimedes screw, and enjoy the huge sand play area (pack wellies and waterproofs!)

Important information: We're working on an exciting new redevelopment of the playground which will open in late spring. This means that part of the playground, including the zip wire and climbing frame, will not be accessible over half term. We're sorry for any disappointment, but promise it will be worth the wait.

Daily activities
Please note that all events within or beginning in the farmyard require visitors to have paid admission. All activities are subject to cancellation due to weather or circumstances beyond our control.
