Join one of Calke Abbey's gardeners on a tour of the Physic Garden, and discover fruits, vegetables, and herbs that were grown to feed the residents of the Abbey.
Find out the sustainable way they lived off the land, planning and growing throughout the year.
You'll get an exclusive insight into the workings of the gardens in times gone by and how it compares to today.
Then enjoy a vegetarian taster lunch in the café, sampling delightful seasonal food, prepared by Calke Abbey's Head Chef.
10am - 2pm.
