Description
Immerse yourself in art and history with artist Rachel Carter within the inspirational surroundings of the ‘History Makers: Unfolded’ exhibition.
Learn the intricate technique of Fill Gap Braiding, used in the new sculpture Standing In This Place installation at the Museum of Making. Artist Rachel Carter will provide step-by-step guidance on setting up your braiding wheel and creating a beautiful braided artwork. Participants will receive a braid kit to take home along with expert tips and tricks for braiding success.
An illuminating opportunity to try your hand at a traditional textile technique within the setting of a fascinating exhibition.
All materials will be provided.
Suitable for adults.
