Empty Orchestra Intergenerational Workshop

Description

This workshop will draw on the creation process of the show, the company will talk about the concept of karaoke, share songs that we have in common or not, and create an intergenerational, ever evolving karaoke sign-up sheet, accompanied by an improvisation dance score. Creating a supportive atmosphere for participants to explore & enjoy their own movement languages using some of their favourite songs in ways that they might not have been able to before.

The workshop will be targeted towards intergenerational & non-dance participants as a friendly way to begin dancing for the first time. It will allow people of all ages to develop their own dance skills and encourage them to seek out further creative opportunities.
