Editing Your Poetry with Harry Slater - Part of Derby Poetry Festival

In this workshop, we’re going to look at some of the ways you can polish your poem once the first draft is done. From language to flow to just what it is you’re trying to say, we’ll take a deep dive into how you can take your writing – and re-writing – to the next level. Bring a piece you’d like to work on, and don’t worry, we won’t be hurling criticism around – this is a safe space to learn some new techniques and hopefully some new ways of looking at your writing.

Harry has an MA in Creative Writing and half a decade of experience in various forms of editing.
