EC Festival: Ecological Citizenship in Action
We are delighted to invite you to the Ecological Citizens Festival — a free, one-day, in-person event at the Museum of Making in Derby on Thursday 18 September 2025 (10:00–16:30; arrive from 09:30).
The EC Festival is a creative, collaborative gathering for artists, scientists, designers, community leaders, researchers, activists and others who are asking: What does it mean to be an ecological citizen today? This year’s theme, “EC in action”, focuses on real, grounded practices of ecological citizenship.
Through workshops, conversations, food and shared creativity, we’ll celebrate what’s working, uncover new ideas and build tools and relationships.
