Description
Don’t Leave Me This Way is a concert that never quite happens. The Zoo Indigo duo perform a series of citizenship catwalks to a live soundscore, as they audition for their motherland. In a playful and provocative exploration of cultural belonging, they grieve the loss of identity, home, and mourn ‘nul points’ in the Eurovision song contest.
In 2019, Zoo Indigo embarked on an odyssey across Europe; searching for identity along the shores of Budapest; crossing the Irish sea to the docks of Dun Laoghaire. They collected stories, folk dances and lyrics along the way, their journey now brings them to their final call.
