Description
University of Derby MA Applied Theatre & Education students are pleased and proud to share some of their exciting and innovative Practice and Research via this Applied Theatre symposium.
The projects are diverse and take a range of different and exciting approaches to working with young people in schools, and out-of-school contexts, plus community projects working with isolated older people.
Keynote speakers to be confirmed.
Michael Rohd (Theatre-maker, educator, process designer, writer and facilitator) says:
“Theatre allows us to converse with our souls, to passionately pursue and discover ways of living with ourselves and with others. We have no better way to work together, to learn about each other, to heal, and to grow.” (1998:140)
