The Biggest Caribbean celebration is coming to Derby!
The sunshine vibes are coming to Derby as Rum & Reggae Fest lands at the breath taking Elvaston Castle on Saturday 23rd May, 1pm-11pm, for a day of tropical music, mouth-watering food, and pure island energy! Get ready to soak up the sunshine and dance beneath the open sky as we turn these beautiful castle grounds into a Caribbean-style celebration of rhythm, rum, and good times.
Our massive line-up features some of the biggest names in UK reggae and roots. Catch the legendary David Rodigan with his signature reggae selections, alongside iconic The Skints, bringing their soulful, ska-infused sound to the stage. Feel the fire from General Levy, delivering his unstoppable "Incredible" energy, and dive deep into the dub with the one and only Mad Professor, a true pioneer of UK reggae. Expect big basslines and carnival spirit from Reggae Roast, and experience the timeless soul of Bob Marley brought to life by XODUS. Keeping the vibes alive, DJ Rudes will be spinning feel-good reggae rhythms throughout the day and the one and only Solo Banton will host, keeping the crowd moving and the energy sky-high!
But it's not just about the music... We're creating a full-blown Caribbean festival experience. Sip on tropical rum cocktails, sample authentic Jamaican street food, and wander through a vibrant world of carnival dancers, fire performers, stilt walkers, craft stalls, and fairground rides. With colour, culture, and island vibes around every corner, this is your chance to escape to the roots, right here in Derby.
Gather your crew, grab your tickets, and get ready for a day of sunshine, sound, and celebration at Elvaston Castle.
Don't miss your chance to be part of Derby's biggest summer party, the countdown to rum, reggae, and pure sunshine vibes starts now!
