Are you ready for the challenge?
Calling all daredevils and those with a head for heights, come and join us at Derby Cathedral as our charity abseil returns for 2026!
You will climb 189 steps up to the roof of the cathedral’s iconic tower. Once at the top you’ll enjoy expansive views of the city before being harnessed up, and braving the 212ft abseil back down.
How to sign up: abseiling slots are available between 8.45am and 5.00pm, full details of how to register are available on the Rainbows website
Registration is £20 with a minimum fundraising target of £100 (excluding Gift Aid).
