Description
Keep the kids busy during the half-term holidays and join us in the Denby Craft Studio for our fun and creative craft sessions. We'll be celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Dragon with a selection of themed craft and clay activities.
Secure your space today and choose from one of the following activities on the day of your visit (subject to availability):
1. Chinese Paper Lanterns: Welcome the Year of the Dragon by decorating a paper lantern in traditional Chinese painted designs such as cherry blossom or birds. Complete with tassels to display at home, and why not add your own fairy lights for that finishing touch.
OR
2. Dancing Dragon Puppets: Make a Dancing Dragon Puppet from our templates using colourful paper, crayons and paints. Bring your Dragon to life by adding concertinaed paper and sticks to your finished design.
OR
3. Craft a Lucky Clay Dragon: Let their imagination run free as they mould and shape a lucky Dragon from our Derbyshire clay. There’s also a how-to guide to follow, if needed, and their creation can be taken away on the day.
Did you know that Chinese Dragons symbolise wisdom, power, and wealth, and they are believed to bring good luck?
