Join our archives and library team for a special morning in the Chatsworth Library and Archives exploring the fascinating stories of the women who made Chatsworth.
Start your day with a one hour tour of the house with our experienced guide, followed by exclusive access to the Library to have a closer look at some of the extraordinary archive and library material relating to Bess of Hardwick, Countess Christian, Duchess Georgiana, Duchess Elizabeth (Bess Foster), Blanche Cavendish, Sarah Paxton and others.
The morning also includes a trip into our archives study room where our archive team will be on hand to answer any questions and give a fascinating insight into the items on display.
A voucher for a hot drink from Flora's tea shop is included, along with house and garden tickets so you can spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace.
10am to 12pm.
