Wait… What?! is our family show exploring some of the biggest mysteries asked by curious children everywhere. One day Sandy realises that there are lots of things in the world that don’t make any sense – like how does the water get into our taps? And, where do clouds come from? Join in and help Sandy get to the bottom of it all.

You won’t be able to keep your attention away from this musical and visual feast. The music has been composed especially for families by Jack Ross. He performs alongside a small ensemble of Sinfonia Viva musicians, while audience members are invited to join in with dancer David Ogle. Our visual artist, Eleanor Meredith, provides live illustrations and animation creating the sights and shapes of Sandy’s world .

Wait… What?! Is more than just a performance. After the show you can meet the musicians, take part in family-friendly musical activities, and explore the Museum of Making’s multitude of interactive exhibits.

Every family in the audience will receive a Wait… What?! book and a code to download the music so you can relive the performance again and again.

These special family shows are very popular. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

This show lasts for approximately 1 hour with family friendly activities after the performance.
