An accomplished singer songwriter in the americana folk tradition, Matt Hill is a man with stories to tell. His songs tell of loves lost and won, and speak of history and community. He is much in demand for his work co-writing songs with those pushed to the edges of society. He has written and recorded songs with people who are homeless, people living in prison and people with dementia.

Crossing various genres and descriptions, The Newcranes are a Derby-based folk-punk, or folk/rock/punk/indie/pop outfit who always deliver an energetic live show. Formed in the early 1990s they were a well established live and recording act, but disbanded in ’96 – reforming in 2018 with a mix of original and new members. Expect Slavonic rock, and a great time!
