Summer Activities – Animate at the Museum and Art Gallery

Description

Animate workshops invite participants to contribute to creating new art works inspired by humankind and our complicated relationship with other creatures that share Planet Earth. 

Work created will be showcased in a multi- art Virtual Reality exhibition.

Animate – Cave painting workshop – 10.30am – 12.30pm

In this 2 hour family-friendly workshop, you will recreate some of the world’s oldest works of art using your hands, spices, and paint to create a community collage of cave prints.

Animate – Wild animal mosaic – 1.30 – 3.30pm

In this 2 hour family-friendly workshop, you will create works of art designed to be walked on, inspired by the Roman technique and wild animals featured in our Gallery, you will use a variety of materials to create floor mosaics

Suitable for Families, all children must be supervised. FREE drop in session.
