In this facilitator led session babies aged 0-2 years old and their adults can explore a range of themes through the lens of our fabulous collections. There are opportunities to look at materials in different ways and get creative with how to play.

What is STEAM learning?
Derby Museums’ learning programmes use STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) as an interdisciplinary approach, through which to learn and understand the world and other people. This approach encourages creative, enquiry-based and critical thinking, enabling people to develop the capacities necessary to thrive in the future; to be curious, empathise and innovate – think, feel and do.
