Somatic Movement Workshop with Tilly Lee Kronick

In this workshop Tilly will give you an insight into her movement practice and approaches to improvisation and creation.

Through a series of guided improvisations heavily influenced by somatic techniques we will explore moving in and out of the floor and interacting with set. Participants will be able to explore how delving into their physicality and qualities of movement, can open a world of storytelling, relaying themes, and emotions.

Using the custom-built set from Tilly’s show Handful Of Nothing, participants will be invited to explore the theme of “thresholds”, that is present within Tilly’s Work.

For dancers, movers and aerialists a-like this workshop is open to whoever would like to extend their movement practice and explore different approaches to creating!
