Description
Join us on Thursday 30th May for FREE live book reading sessions for children throughout the day.
Your child can enjoy listening to stories in our teddy bear picnic themed area.
Sessions will run between 11 am – 4 pm. Each 30-minute slot will see a minimum of 2 books read to children including :
* The Tiger Who Came To Tea
* Little Bear’s Picnic
* Teddy Bear’s Picnic
* Elmer
* Cat In The Hat
* The Gruffalo
On the day, we would be grateful to receive (optional) charity contributions for our 2024 charity partner, Umbrella.
Derbion will also be a drop-off location for Derby Book Festival’s Children’s Book Appeal where locals will be able to donate their pre-loved children’s books. The initiative aims to spread a love of books and encourage a new generation of Derby readers. Books will be able to be donated at our Customer Service desk, located on level 1 outside Boots.
