Description
BrickLab Academy brings LEGO® Play Sessions to Derby Market Hall this Half Term.
Families across Derby are invited to get creative this Half Term as BrickLab Academy hosts a series of hands on LEGO® Play Sessions at Derby Market Hall on May 29th and 30th.
Hosted by Former LEGO Master Model Builder Brad Charlton Wells, the sessions are designed to inspire creativity, imagination and family fun through free building challenges, creative prompts and thousands of LEGO® bricks.
Play Sessions encourage participants to build freely, experiment with ideas and take part in exciting themed challenges in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
As part of the experience, BrickLab Academy will also be bringing along large scale LEGO® models inspired by LEGOLAND parks, alongside pieces from the BrickLab Vault Collection, a growing collection celebrating LEGO® history, classic builds and rare display creations.
Each 1 hour session includes:
• Access to thousands of LEGO® bricks
• Creative building challenges and prompts
• Tips and techniques from a Former LEGO Master Model Builder
• Large scale LEGO® display models
• A chance to explore elements of LEGO® history from the BrickLab Vault Collection
• A showcase moment at the end of the session
• A fun experience suitable for all ages
Tickets are just £7.50 with no booking fees and spaces are limited.
The event forms part of BrickLab Academy’s growing programme of creative community events across the Midlands, bringing hands on LEGO® experiences to towns and cities outside of traditional attraction venues
