Join us for a day of FREE fun at the Grand Opening of Derby Market Hall on Sat 24 May!
Events include:
- Opening ceremony with ribbon cutting and brass band.
- Live music throughout the day from local artists, including Deep Down Brass, Carl North, Sura Laynes, Leah Wilcox, Anna Milne, Shali Parmar and Mesha Terry.
- A range of creative and interactive workshops for all ages throughout the venue, including in our new upstairs multi-use events space, The Ordish Room.
- Immersive Ancestories virtual reality exhibition inspired by humankind and our complicated relationship with other creatures that share Planet Earth.
- Hilarious walkabout performances from a diverse group of acts.
