Burton and Derby Hospital's Charity Abseil

Attention thrill-seekers and those with a head for heights, we invite you to participate in the exhilarating charity abseil at Derby Cathedral, making its comeback in August 2024 in aid of the Burton and Derby Hospitals Charity.

You’ll ascend the 189 steps to reach the summit of the cathedral’s iconic tower. Once at the top, you’ll be able to take in panoramic views of the city before being securely harnessed.  Then, it’s your chance to take the plunge, abseiling the 212 feet back down.

Experience the unique opportunity to observe the clock-face up close as you gracefully abseil down the tower. Every penny raised through your sponsorship will contribute to making a huge difference for patients and staff being cared for and working across Derby, Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

How to sign up.

Abseiling opportunities are open from 08:00 to 17:00, making participation in the Derby Cathedral Abseil a breeze.

Click on the link below, choose your time slot and add the number of tickets to your basket, complete the registration form and complete your registration with a £20 fee per person.

We kindly request participants to raise a minimum of £100 each through sponsorship for their abseil.
