Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity Abseil

Description

You’ll ascend the 189 steps to reach the summit of the cathedral’s iconic tower. Once at the top, you’ll be able to take in panoramic views of the city before being securely harnessed.  Then, it’s your chance to take the plunge, abseiling the 212 feet back down.

Experience the unique opportunity to observe the clock-face up close as you gracefully abseil down the tower. Every penny raised through your sponsorship will contribute to making a huge difference for patients and staff being cared for and working across Derby, Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
How to sign up.

Abseiling opportunities are open from 8 am to 5 pm, making participation in the Derby Cathedral Abseil a breeze.

Just click here to access our booking page, choose your time slot and add the number of tickets to your basket, complete the registration form and complete your registration with a £20 fee (+ £1.25 booking fee) per person. Participants are required to raise a minimum of £100 through sponsorship for their abseil.

What is the cancellation policy?

We can only offer refunds or exchanges if an event has been cancelled or rescheduled.  We do offer a 24-hour cooling off period, allowing you to request a refund within 24 hours of your booking.  Bookings made within 14 days of the event are exempt from the cooling off period.
