After a successful first year, the Derby Heritage Beer Festival is back at the Museum of Making!

A highlight in the city’s calendar, the festival brings together over 150 real ales from the best of Britain’s breweries, alongside a selection of ciders, world beers and craft keg.

The festival will be held on the ground floor of the Museum of Making, with seating available in a marquee installed for the occasion. A range of food will be provided by the Museum’s River Kitchen and there will be live music entertainment over the event.

When is it on?

Wednesday 3 September, 6-11pm (free to CAMRA members)
Thursday 4 September, 12-5pm and 6-11pm
Friday 5 September, 12-5pm and 6-11pm
Saturday 6 September, 12-5pm and 6-11pm

Walk-ins are allowed on the day subject to capacity. We recommend purchasing a ticket in advance to guarantee entry to your selected time slot.

What can I drink?

Please note, lists will continue to be updated in the run up to the festival, and all drinks are subject to availability.

Will there be music?

Wednesday evening – to be confirmed
Thursday evening – Crossroads (rock/pop)
Friday evening – Indie Division (indie/britpop)
Saturday evening – Unforgiven (rock)

Will there be food?

The Museum’s River Kitchen will serve a range of hot and cold food.

How much is it?

Entry is £7 and you will need a £3 (refundable) glass. 

Additional information for attendees

• This is an over 18s event, younger visitors are advised to bring ID as challenge 25 will be in operation.
• There is a refundable charge of £3 for glass hire, this is included in the ticket cost.
• Advance tickets holders are advised to arrive promptly to the event.
• The Derby Heritage Beer Festival promotes card payments. Cash payments will be available at the event.
• Last orders will be at 4.30pm for daytime sessions and 10.30pm for evening sessions.
• All service dogs are welcome, water will be made available upon request.
• Free entry for CAMRA members on Wednesday night with proof of membership.
