Description

Join us at Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro for a fun and relaxed evening with Barry Lewis of Amber Valley Wines. Sample great award-winning English wines and see how your palate alters when you taste a selection of wines with artisan cheeses from Cromford Mills Cheese Shop.

All profits from this event will go to our nominated charity, Shelter UK. You can find out more about Shelter UK and how we are supporting them on our website at www.denbypottery.com/relove-with-shelter.

Denby Pottery Village is delighted to welcome Barry Lewis from Amber Valley Wines to host a Cheese & Wine Evening at Bourne's Coffee Shop & Bistro on Friday 17th May 2024 at 7pm. Barry will treat us to samples of six award-winning Amber Valley Wines produced from his Wessington vineyard in Derbyshire, alongside complementing cheeses with crackers and accompaniments.

During the evening will be an auction of some unique items and opportunities in aid of Shelter.

Amber Valley Wines produce quality wines, including still white and pink wines and a signature Amber Orange - a white wine with ancient origins which is made the same way as red wine. The Amber Valley Wines sampled can also be purchased afterwards with no obligation to buy. Barry Lewis is the former CEO of Wine GB, the national industry body for Britain’s fastest growing agricultural sector.

As a little thank you, all guests on the evening will also receive a 20% off voucher to spend in our shops during your next visit to Denby Pottery Village. T&Cs apply, see voucher & denbypottery.com for full details.

If you fancy making a night of it, why not pre-book a taxi (Amber Taxi's is 01773 836100 and service the local area) or hop on a bus, which drops you just outside Denby Pottery Village.
