Description
Enjoy working with textile artist Ursula Rose Rae making Textile banners! In this creative making session, we’ll explore sharing messages and using your voice through fabric! You will explore themes and ideas important to you and be guided through a range of textiles skills to use to develop your design – thinking about text, colour and pattern. We will look at textile banners in the museum collection for inspiration and think about different ways that banners might be used. This session is perfect for beginners. No prior experience needed.
This session is only suitable for children aged 8 or over. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults must book a FREE ticket if they are present to supervise and assist their child. Adults participating must purchase a ticket.
