The Coach House have won Bronze at the 2024 Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards for B&B and Guest House of the Year

The Coach House is a boutique bed and breakfast situated on the A6, within easy reach of the City Centre. The West Mill wedding venue is a 10 minute walk away. The University and Darley Park are on the doorstep.

We do the simple things well. We provide a warm welcome, comfortable beds and cooked to order breakfasts with quality, locally sourced ingredients where possible.

We currently have 6 bedrooms, 3 of which are situated in the main house. Three superior rooms are in our self contained stables building. All rooms have been refurbished and individually styled. All rooms have TVs, good connection to wifi, generous hospitality trays, hairdryers and toiletries.

We cater for all types of guests, from those looking for a romantic break to those staying away from home on business. We have a range of rooms with flexibility to accommodate single travellers, couples and families, as well as our four legged friends (except in Room 7, our superior room on the first floor).

We are available for private hire for special occasions and get togethers and can organise bespoke catering and entertainment. We have a range of options to accommodate extra guests – from temporary camp beds and sofa beds through to the exclusive use of either or both buildings. Parking is limited (we have four spaces in total). We allocate this on a first come, first served basis. However, there is ample parking available on the streets nearby. For those arriving by bike, we provide secure storage for your valuable wheels.
