Something new is coming to Derby, and it is unlike anything the city has seen before. Take Aim is a destination activity venue opening late summer 2026 in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter. Built around British country sports heritage, it brings together clay pigeon simulation, a golf simulator, social darts, putting, and pétanque under one roof, alongside a full bar and a proper food offer.

It is activity-led competitive socialising done with genuine care, genuine quality, and a distinctly British soul. The shooting bays are where it starts. Using state-of-the-art simulation technology, groups take aim at virtual clays projected across a large screen. The guns are weighted and calibrated to feel like the real thing. The clays fly. The scores go up. First-timers hit clays within minutes. Experienced shots find the system technically demanding. Everyone argues about the scoreboard. Bay hire from £15 per person per hour, accommodating up to six shooters per bay.
