A family home for nearly 400 years, generations of Sitwells have made their mark on the architecture, gardens and wider estate of Renishaw.
Expore the Hall and the Gardens during your visit as well as treating yourself to some afternoon tea in the Gallery Cafe or purchasing some Derbyshire wine direct from their vineyard.
Group, specialist and public tours run throughout the year in the hall and the gardens for those who want a real insight into the roots of Renishaw Hall.
Opening times:
The Visitor Centre is open Wednesday to Sunday 9am – 4.30pm.
During the open season (March to October) the Gardens open at 10.30am – 4.30pm
Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Please note: The Hall and Gardens CLOSE for the season on Sunday 26th October 2025. The stables courtyard Cafe and Gift Shop will remain OPEN up to 14th December 2025, with a slight change to opening times Thursday to Sunday 9am to 4pm. Parking and entrance to the stables courtyard is free and we always look forward to seeing you.
I'm totally in love with this place. The kids' secret garden is absolutely charming and stunning.
