The pub has remarkable character and history with bijoux rooms, a cottage even and the owners Martin and Denise have added those extra little touches to give it a warm, friendly, relaxing feeling.
With regular unplugged live music, stand-up comedy and quizzes organised throughout the week, plus their free British tapas and roaring wood fires, the Exeter sets a new standard for a great British institution.
