Description
Following on from 2024’s extremely successful 10 year anniversary event. Wirksworth miniature railway are gearing up for their 2nd annual event in September (5th-7th 2025) which promises to be bigger and better than last year.
There will be traction engines big and small in attendance, the miniature railway in operation with multiple guest locomotives, along with the model railway being open, the narrow gauge in operation.
There will be road runs with the traction engines. As well as multiple layouts on display. Along with displays encompassing different aspects of railways be it the history of Triang, Railways in film or even the miniature railway, this year we will be celebrating in our own way the history of steam and all things railways over the past 200 years.
This event coincides with Ravenstor 20, so it will be a double celebration.
