Description
Derby’s Cathedral Quarter will come alive with Wings & Wheels, an extraordinary display of over 50 classic Rolls-Royce cars, including one used by King George V.
Organised by Love Sadler Gate, The Old Bell Hotel, and The Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club, this event will take place across The Market Place, Iron Gate, and Cathedral Green.
Visitors can admire some of the most iconic Rolls-Royce models, including the legendary Silver Ghosts, a 1939 Rolls-Royce Wraith once used by dignitaries like Winston Churchill, and a 1926 Rolls-Royce Phantom originally delivered to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Adding a unique twist to the line-up, a 1970s Rolls-Royce Shadow, which its owner insists has never been cleaned but remains mechanically perfect, will make a special appearance.
Beyond the breathtaking cars, The Old Bell Hotel will host a heritage exhibition featuring rare artefacts, vintage photographs, and exclusive videos that bring Rolls-Royce’s rich history to life.
This is a must-see celebration of automotive excellence and history in the heart of Derby.
