Description
This summer, The Children's Country House at Sudbury invites you to come on a journey through time.
Highlighting a variety of iconic children's garments from our wonderful Museum of Childhood collection, you will travel across the last 150 years, discovering how the wearability of children’s clothing has evolved.
You will see how clothing developed from rigid, restrictive cuts into looser and more comfortable garments and how this allowed children more emotional freedom.
This thought-provoking exhibition involves creative partnerships and sustainable craftspeople, an event milestone for 2026 to not be missed!
