Description
As part of Heritage Open Days, W. W. Winter Photographers invites visitors to explore the theme of everyday histories, using images from its extensive archive to show how everyday lives became everyday histories through photography.
Enjoy a guided tour of the historic studio, including:
- Victorian photography studio
- Original daylight studio
- 1st and 2nd class waiting rooms
- Second-floor retouching room
- Collection of domestic cameras and vintage photographic ephemera
Tour dates:
- Thursday 17 September at 11am
- Friday 18 September at 11am
- Saturday 19 September at 10am
Tours last approximately 1.5 hours. Booking is essential as places are limited. To book, call 01332 345224 or email office@wwwinter.co.uk.
Accessibility: The building dates from 1867. Upper floors are accessible via the main staircase only. The toilet is on the first floor and is not accessible for disabled visitors.
