A double bill of two new plays, performed by our Years 7-11 and Years 17-25 Youth Theatre groups.
Forward to the Past
At the Museum of Living History, history truly comes alive. When things start to go wrong, it’s up to Tarquin to save the day. With the help of an unlikely friend, Tarquin races against the clock to stop the universe from imploding.

An hour-long journey into magic on an isolated island, where the magician Prospero plots her revenge to right the wrongs of the past.
Join us for Shakespeare’s powerful tale — fast-paced, funny, fearless, and fuelled by the creative energy of a cast aged 17 to 25. In this vivid reimagining, the island becomes a blank canvas, where art and imagination hold the power to heal, destroy and transform.
As Prospero conjures storms and spirits and the island’s natives, Caliban and Ariel dream of freedom, we see the human spirit at its worst and wondrous best. At the heart of this tale is a celebration of creativity as survival, and the timeless human need to dream.
Join us for an invigorating retelling that reminds us: the real magic is the art we leave behind.
