Description
While companies like Hammer and Amicus tend to dominate the conversation when it comes to British horror, and more recently directors like Ben Wheatley have shown that UK scares are alive and unwell, there is also a rich seam of terrifying home-grown productions which are often ignored or forgotten.
This talk featuring plenty of clips and discussion, will highlight some of those over looked gems, prompting analysis of movies like The Ghoul (1933), The Man Who Changed his Mind (1936), Sleepwalker (1984) and many, many, more.
Expect in-depth delves into the likes of Terrence Fisher, Tod Slaughter and Pete Walker. You have been warned…
