Description
To mark 280 years since the Jacobite occupation of Derby, we will turn the clock back in the Bonnie Prince Charlie Room to 1745.
The Prince himself will return to the drawing room of Exeter House, as he meets his officers for their historic deliberations. Will the Jacobites continue their march on London, or can the more cautious minds on the council persuade the Prince that the odds are too great? One of the most remarkable events in Derby’s history comes to life, right before our eyes.
Re-enactment performed by Alan Breck’s Regiment.
Suitable for all. Free to attend, donations welcome.
