Description
Looking for a fun half-term activity with the kids? Join us in the Denby Craft Studio to celebrate spooky season with Halloween-themed clay, paint, and craft activities!
Session length: 50 minutes (choose from available times)
Entry: £2.50 per child (and then choose from ONE of the following activities on the day of your visit):
1. Paint a Halloween Trick-or-Treat Bowl (age 6+):
Hand-paint a pre-stencilled Denby Trick-or-Treat bowl (£14 and subject to availability) or decorate your own spooky Denby piece using our colourful glazes (from £10). We’ll fire it in our kilns so it’s ready to collect and treasure forever.
OR
2. Paint a Fun Shape (age 3+):
Choose from our selection of fun and spooky pottery shapes to paint with water-based paints and take home the same day. Add a clear varnish at home to make it glossy. Prices from £8.50. (Note: not kiln fired.)
OR
3. Play with Clay (age 3+):
Let imaginations run wild creating Halloween-inspired shapes from our Derbyshire clay. Take them home to air-dry and paint. £7 per child. Ideas and inspiration provided.
OR
4. Halloween-Themed Crafts (age 3+):
Paint and decorate a small “make and take home” pot, perfect for storing spooky sweets or to display around the home. £7 per child. Ideas provided (subject to availability).
Additional: Press Your Own Witches’ Frog
Using our Denby clay and frog mould, make your own witches’ frog. Take home to paint your spooky design! Air-dry first, then use acrylic or water-based paints. £3 per child (must be purchased alongside a craft session).
Add Extra Fun: Halloween Trail
Get the whole family together to follow the ghoulish trail. Spot the creepy creatures lurking around the village, and find their spooky number to crack the code. Complete the trail sheet and be rewarded with a tasty treat.
- £3 per child
- Must be purchased alongside a craft activity
- Collect clues from the Craft Studio and complete the trail before your booked session (Studio closes 4pm)
