Take part in our interactive craft workshops at Derby Market Hall.

Funky Printing workshop by Artcore
Children will make their own stamping plate using cardboard and funky foam. They will cut their own shapes and design a pattern by gluing the shapes to the cardboard…once dry acrylic paint will be applied using a brayer and the children will enjoy seeing the reveal of their creative design. Pattern foam rollers can also be available for younger children wanting to just print patterns on paper.

Bookmark decorating session, alongside a special Rhymetime and Story time sessions from the Riverside Library team.

Water colour background with silhouettes workshop by Artcore
Children will create a watercolour background and then add silhouettes by using stencils, black cutouts or freehand drawing with black marker pen.
Tue 2 Sep

Pom pom creatures workshop by Artcore
Pom Pom Creatures - Children will use coloured wool and pom pom makers to create fluffy soft pom poms in different sizes. They will use their imagination to create cute creatures with felt, glue and googly eyes.
