DnD - Winter's Cold Embrace

Come and Join us for another day of amazing DnD Action! This session, winter is well on it's way, and all the stories will have a chilling theme!

We are excited to be running another enthralling DnD session within the eerily awesome & atmospheric halls of Elvaston Castle in Derby! This is the perfect opportunity for Dnd Veterans, and RPG newbies alike to come together and enjoy playing some engaging games with complete strangers in a truly remarkable setting! All are welcome!

If you're interested, be sure to take a minute to read the narrative descriptions from each experience, pick which you'd like to play, and grab a ticket! Due to organisational costs, all tickets are non-refundable, but are transferrable.

About the Venue: Elvaston Castle is a stately home in Derbyshire, England. The country park has 200 acres of woodlands, parkland and formal gardens. For this event, we have access to the baronial hall, and many other rooms within the Castle often off limits to the public! There is plenty of on-site parking, and a café for refreshments to enjoy.

Included in your ticket: You'll get a full day of gaming with your selected DM and story, free entry into the raffle supporting the restoration of the aging building as well as other charitable causes, and a goodie bag from 7th City! You'll also have access to a variety of nerdy stalls to stock up on RPG items, and all sorts of other goodies!

Cosplay: While this isn't mandatory, we love to reward players who go above and beyond to get into the spirit of the event! There will be a prize for the best cosplay, and also the best table dressing for the DMs to really immerse you in their tales of peril!

Timings:

9.30am - Hall open to attendees, Cosplay dressing rooms open, & head to playing tables

10am - Session Start

12pm - Break & Cosplay photoshoot for those wanting to take advantage of the setting

1pm - Session resume

3pm - Refreshment Break

5.30pm - Wrap up warning

5.45pm  - Session End

6pm - Cosplay Awards, Raffle results, & Goodbyes

I've been DMing for about 2 years for a group of friends. I like to run games where the rule of cool is the defining feature of the table. Chaos and fun are what I like to create with the help of the players.
I've also run combat taster sessions for children for non-profit charity called Roll With Us.

You are a group of adventurers hired to delve into the frozen northlands of Derbeos. Answers must be found!

Reports speak of an uprising in the Freeloader encampments — their ragged tribes united by none other than the Bloke Beyond the Wall.

But darker whispers chill the air: the Snowstalkers have returned. Thought gone for a thousand years, these pale fiends are said to be marching south.
