Leap into the extraordinary as Derby Festé returns in 2026 with a spectacular line-up of free outdoor performances. Showcasing a diverse mix of leading UK and international artists, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable celebration of creativity.

On Saturday 26 September, Derby city centre will be transformed into a vibrant playground, as the city’s premier outdoor arts festival brings a unique, family-friendly experience to the heart of the city.

Streets will come alive with a captivating and dynamic programme. Expect high-energy outdoor dance, playful performances, stunning visual art, and breath-taking circus acts that turn the city itself into a stage.

The festival begins at 11.30am and, for the first time, extends into the evening, giving audiences the chance to experience Festé after dark.

This year’s line-up offers a range of unforgettable experiences, from internationally acclaimed performers to exciting talent from the East Midlands. Highlights include interactive walkabout dogs, trumpet players performing high above the crowd, roller-skating choreography, and powerful dance performances, all building towards an unmissable Saturday evening spectacle.

Events will take place across key city centre locations including Derby Market Place, Cathedral Green, Derby Market Hall and Osnabruck Square.
