Derby Community Jobs Fair

Derby City Council, in partnership with the DWP and Derby Market Hall, invites you to the Derby Community Jobs Fair on Wednesday 17 September, 9:00am – 1:00pm!

Whether you’re looking for your first role, returning to work, or seeking a new challenge, this is your chance to meet a wide range of employers offering full and part-time opportunities at all levels.

Employers already confirmed include Derbyshire Constabulary, Rolls-Royce, the University of Derby, and Derventio Housing—plus many more ready to connect with you.

The event will open with a quiet hour from 9:00–10:00 with no background music, creating a calmer environment for visitors.

UC Claimants - Anyone who is a UC Claimant can recieve travel support to placement.

DWP offers support and financial assistance to help people move into employment. The Employment Hub is working with DWP Youth Teams on this programme offering support and ensuring no sanctions are placed on anyone participating in this programme. You will need to inform your JCP Work Coach that you are participating in this programme to avoid any sanctions.
