Culture Cares Conference 2025
Culture Cares Conference 2025 returns to Derby Theatre, uniting the cultural and care sectors for a powerful day of connection, creativity and conversation. Co-produced by care-experienced young people, this nationally significant event explores how arts and culture are creating positive change and new pathways for young people in care.
🎙️ Keynote Speaker: Olympian Fatima Whitbread MBE
This is our third conference and promises to be the most impactful yet. The day includes:
- Inspirational talks and performances by care-experienced individuals
- Breakout workshops with partners including Blue Cabin, The Verbatim Formula, Derby Virtual School, and Care to Dance
- A co-created live performance and moving final presentation by Care to Dance
- Audience with Fatima Whitbread, sharing her personal story and insights
This event is ideal for artists, educators, youth workers, care professionals, policy makers and anyone interested in creating meaningful impact through culture.
