Description
Experience the magnificent sound of massed brass in the spectacular surroundings of Derby Cathedral, as Derwent Brass and Derby Central Salvation Army come together for one of Derby’s great festive traditions.
Christmas at the Cathedral is the perfect family Christmas concert, bringing together a joyful programme of festive favourites, traditional carols and spectacular brass band music – all beneath the beautiful surroundings of Derby Cathedral.
There is nothing quite like the majestic, triumphant and heart-warming sound of a massed brass band at Christmas. With two outstanding bands joining forces, moments of musical spectacle and the opportunity for the audience to raise the Cathedral roof with some much-loved carols, this is a wonderfully uplifting way to begin the festive season.
Whether Christmas at the Cathedral is already part of your family’s Christmas tradition or you’re joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you for a very special evening of music, celebration and Christmas spirit.
