Description
A workshop looking at how cinematic horror franchises, whatever their current situations in regard to cinema itself, often live on via the medium of videogames, using examples such as Alien: Isolation (2014), Friday the 13th: The Game (2017), Evil Dead: The Game (2022), A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead (2024), and more. And while videogame adaptations of horror movies reach back decades, Alex De-Gruchy is interested in focusing on how advances in the videogame medium have allowed it to provide increasingly impressive and faithful adaptations of the source material.
